Job Description

Master SchedulerThe Master Scheduler is responsible for coordinating, planning and scheduling of production at the plant. Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle. Works with customers, purchasing, production and engineering regarding new product releases and long term customer needs. Prepares and manages the demand production schedule for the facility.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPlans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle.Manage demand, production scheduling and customer service for multiple customers/ productsFormalizes weekly forecasts and sales and operations planning dataWorks closely with customers, purchasing, production and engineering regarding new product releases and long-term customer needs to determine daily production and shipping requirementsEstablishes supply chain parameters to drive 100% on time delivery of requirements along with appropriate inventory levels to protect against variationLeads continuous improvement teams and cost reduction initiativesSupports new product/ program launchesPerform additional duties as directedComplete all required and applicable training required by Adient and its customersThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee.The employee is expected to perform other duties necessary for the effective operation of the department.Education / Experience / SkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge in Supply Chain ManagementExperience with J-I-T Automotive Sequencing3-5 Years in either Materials Planning/Scheduling/Analyst/SupervisorBroad based supply chain management and process development knowledge requiredExperience should include but not limited to scheduling, demand and record management, customer measurement systems, inventory management and material flowWorking knowledge of operations, accounting, purchasing and experience in automotive supply chainMust possess strong interpersonal and leadership skillsAdvanced level ability in PC Software, ERP and EDI systemExceptional math, time management and problem-solving skills Formal lean manufacturing trainingPRIMARY LOCATIONBridgewater Interiors II
